Holiday Food Drive

Our Congregation collects food donations for the JFCS Squirrel Hill Food Pantry every High Holy Day season. This holiday tradition makes a significant impact for those in our community who struggle with food insecurity. Last year, our Congregation's donations made up a third of all food received during the Squirrel Hill Food Pantry's High Holy Day Food Drive.

TWO WAYS TO HELP:

Fill a Bag: While attending holiday services, pick up an empty bag in our lobby and return it filled by Simchat Torah.

This year, Rodef Shalom & Temple Sinai are focusing on donations of kosher and gluten-free box meals, such as
packaged mixes or ready-to-eat microwave meals! All items must be safe to store at room temperature.
We also welcome donations of any other unopened, unexpired shelf-stable foods in cans, boxes, or sealed packages.
Please no glass jars or bottles.

Donate: Support our neighbors in need by making a tax-deductible donation directly to the Jewish Family and Community Services Squirrel Hill Food Pantry online at jfcspgh.org/pantryappeal.
