Join Berkman Family Center Director Ellie Kleinman-Feibus, Community Engagement Director Danie Oberman, and members of the Rodef Shalom and Temple Sinai Clergy for a family-friendly Shabbat morning service followed by lox, bagels, and play time! $5 per family

Join us in singing or chanting almost all the Hebrew prayers, interspersed with interpretive readings from Mishkan Tefilah. The service includes a Torah reading of the weekly Parashah, a short dvar Torah, and finishes with Kiddush.

Grab a bagel and experience learning Hebrew together as a family! In our most popular Hebrew program, students learn Hebrew prayers with a parent or other adult partner during the hour before religious school on Sundays. Free childcare is available for younger siblings not enrolled in Hebrew.

Children in grades K-8 are invited to join together to craft their own set of Hanukkah candles to take home and help spread the light of the Hanukkah season. $10 per child includes lunch and all candle-making supplies for at least 9 Hanukkah candles. RSVP by Wednesday, December 3rd.

This hour of Hebrew instruction immediately follows religious school on Sundays. It mirrors the program previously held at Temple Sinai and is for students only. Snacks provided! This class is for those who cannot attend Wednesday or Family Hebrew.

You’re invited to a special midday event you won’t want to miss! We’ll kick things off with lunch together, then listen to I Remember—a powerful and captivating 25-minute piece that brings excerpts from Anne Frank’s diary to life through music for voice, harp, cello, and flute.

Join us for spirited discussion as we delve into Jewish views on a specific topic. Talmud discusses the arguments in great detail, and we will enter into the discussion and increase our own understanding! Registration is not required. All are welcome.

We will serve up some yummy dishes that have previously been served at one of the clubs and will share the recipes. Please RSVP so we know how much food to make.

Our midweek program begins with a half hour of tefillah, where we discuss the meaning and usefulness of prayer. The following 90 minutes of instruction by level is leisurely, with activities and a snack break.
