Empty Bowls 2025
The annual Empty Bowls is a simple community meal of bread and soup to help remind people of the one in seven in our community who are facing hunger. Proceeds benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest.

Time & Location:
Apr 06, 2025, 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Rodef Shalom Congregation, 4905 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, USA
Details:
On April 6th, gather with friends and neighbors here at Rodef Shalom for an informal meal of local chef-created soups, hearty bread, and other tasty treats.
As in years past, there will be three seating options:
1:00-3:00 PM
3:30-5:30 PM
6:00-8:00 PM
Takeout options will be available during each of these times
Each ticket will include a humble dinner and a unique hand-crafted bowl. New selections of handmade bowls will be replenished throughout the event. New this year is our Meet the Makers opportunity for guests to meet the potters who created the bowls (available during the third seating only).
Children under the age of three can enter the event without a ticket. Presale tickets can be purchased for $30, and a limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $35. Tickets will be available February 12th and can be purchased at pittsburghfoodbank.org/emptybowls
All proceeds will benefit Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest. We hope to see you at this year’s event!
