Join us as we observe Tisha B'av with a musical and textual exploration of Eicha - The Book of Lamentations.
The poetry of the Book of Lamentations, attributed to the prophet Jeremiah, has inspired many beautiful musical settings in the Jewish and larger musical world. In this program, a professional quintet, including Cantor Toby Glaser and Music Director Don Megahan will perform Thomas Tallis' Lamentations among many other beautiful settings featuring our Rodef Shira choir and also a teaching by Rabbi Henry.
