All programs are free

10 AM – 12 Noon · Cohen Chapel | Lomir Zingen (Let’s Sing)

Yiddish song workshop with world-renowned klezmorim Deborah Strauss and Cantor Jeff Warschauer.

All songs will be transliterated and translated. No experience necessary.

2:00 PM – 2:45 PM · Lippman Library | Lomir Redn (Let’s Speak)

Get ready to join Beit Kulanu’s Yiddish language collaboration with the Workers Circle this fall – Experience a lively, interactive, hybrid beginners Yiddish class with a master Workers Circle teacher.


3:00 PM – 4:00 PM · Cohen Chapel | Lomir Organizirn (Let’s Organize)

Workers Circle Social Justice and Yiddish organizer Yasha Giner will share tips and tactics for bringing the generations-long Yiddish tradition of social action into our community.


4:00 – 5:00 PM · Cohen Chapel | Lomir Tantsn (Let’s Dance)

Deborah Strauss, Cantor Jeff Warschauer and the Pittsburgh Klezmer Jam teach and lead Yiddish dancing. No experience necessary. Tailored to all ages and abilities.

and made possible by a grant from the Yiddish Book Center.
