Mask Policy for Rodef Shalom Congregation

As we continue to deal with COVID-19 infections, and with a commitment to the health and safety of our community, the Safety and Security Committee of Rodef Shalom Congregation has instituted guidelines for the wearing of masks in our facility.

Rodef Shalom Congregation uses the color-coding of infection rates from the Center for Disease Control to guide masking requirements. (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html)

If the status is green | low, mask-wearing in the Rodef Shalom building is optional.

If the status is yellow medium, masks are required in services and strongly encouraged throughout the building.

If the status rises to orange high, masks are required in all areas.

If/when the status for Allegheny County changes we will post the change at the top of this page. We encourage you to check our county's status before coming to Rodef Shalom Congregation.

Masks continue to be available to visitors at our reception desk regardless of our country's status.

Other congregations, programs, and tenants with their home at Rodef Shalom may make their own decisions as to masking in their offices and activities, however, those additional, different policies may not be more lenient than that of Rodef Shalom.

Thank you for helping us keep our community healthy.
