High Holy Days 5780: If Not Now, When?

To attend services for the High Holy Days, please review all options below and select the sections that apply to you and your family.

New Ticket Policy: You must present a ticket or a confirmation email as you arrive for each service. If you do not have a ticket in hand, you will be required to sign in upon arrival.

For members: To RSVP for all High Holy Days services, please complete the form below. The complete schedule for services is as follows:

  • Sunday, Sept. 29, 7:30 p.m. - Erev Rosh Hashanah

  • Monday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m. - Rosh Hashanah Day

  • Tuesday, Oct. 8., 7:30 p.m. - Kol Nidre

  • Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m. - Yom Kippur Day

  • Wednesday, Oct. 9, 4:30 p.m. - Yizkor Service and Neilah

Reciprocal Tickets: Members of any URJ congregation may attend Rodef Shalom services with the reciprocity form available from their congregation. For questions, call 412-621-6566.

College students and members of the military are welcome as our guests without tickets. Please bring your college or military identification. Simply complete the RSVP form to attend.

Members may request tickets for out-of-town family members and guests. A contribution of $70 per ticket is suggested. Note: $70 is the discounted rate for members requesting additional tickets. Please complete your transaction below.

For unaffiliated individuals: A contribution of $140 per ticket is suggested. Please complete your transaction below.

Please Note: Increased Security Measures will be taken at all services

We want you to know that we take your safety seriously, and that we work diligently to ensure a congregation that is safe and secure, while also warm and welcoming. In addition to Pittsburgh police officers being present at the synagogue, Rodef Shalom also will have multiple armed guards staffing all High Holy Days services. Please plan to arrive to services early, as all High Holy Days attendees will be required to check in at our entrances.
