At Rodef Shalom Congregation, we believe in building and sustaining a vibrant Reform Jewish community. Our members reflect the varied and dynamic world we live in. We aim to guide and support our members in living full Jewish lives, based on Torah, worship, and acts of loving-kindness. Being a member of our Congregation is to be among progressive Jews with one foot in our faith’s traditions and the other stepping forward into the future.
Membership in our congregation includes:
High Holy Day tickets for all household members and discounted tickets for guests. Reciprocal High Holy Day tickets at any URJ-affiliated congregation in the United States.
Access to our clergy for pastoral care and lifecycle events.
Free and discounted access to concerts, films, classes and other programs.
Discounted rates on room rentals for parties, meetings or other events.
Discounted tuition in our Family Center Preschool and JJEP, our religious and Hebrew school.
Youth group activities for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Being part of our community of caring as you participate in and connect with our congregation. Every individual in our kehillah kedoshah, holy community, is vital. As our members support the work we do, we are here to support our members.

Sustaining | $2,544 annually
Our standard membership option.
Establishing | $1,100 annually
This membership operates on an escalator model with the expectation of a $120 increase each year until you reach the sustaining membership amount.
Dual | $1,272 annually
You are joining Rodef Shalom as a second place of worship.
Out-of-Town | $300 annually
You live outside of Pittsburgh for at least 70% of the calendar year.
Under 35 | $250 annually
Individuals and couples under the age of 35.
Student | Free
You are currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
Financial hardship should not be a barrier to membership.
We are happy to discuss alternative options with you.
