Join members of Temple Sinai, Rodef Shalom Congregation, and Episcopal Church of the Redeemer for a powerful interfaith Civil Rights Journey through the American South.
Traveling together from Pittsburgh, we will visit significant sites in Atlanta, Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery that shaped the struggle for justice, equality, and human dignity.
Along the way, we will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, reflect at landmark memorials and museums, and walk in the footsteps of those who risked everything in the fight for civil and voting rights—including crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma.
Through shared learning, reflection, and conversation, we will explore the enduring impact of the Civil Rights Movement and its connections to our world today, while strengthening interfaith relationships and renewing our commitment to a more just future.
View trip itinerary. Optional May 17 stay in Atlanta with visit to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.
